The NEW LYRIC THEATRE is available for Hire at affordable rates to the community for concerts, plays, workshops etc. Upstairs is the new "Stagelight Studio" which is also available for Hire. BMCG aims to promote dramatic art, cultivate and foster their skills/ talents to the highest level in a friendly, seniors and people with disability to develop, including youth, by providing opportunities for people of all ages, music and musical theatre, safe and affordable performance and rehearsal venue that welcomes the whole community. Other theatre groups and schools also use our venue. A typical program is two major productions, several concerts together with minor productions from time to time. The NEW LYRIC THEATRE is a 200 seat theatre with full facilities, modern foyer, extensive wardrobe, such as dressing rooms, green room and licensed bar.
